VINS Nature Center, also known as the Vermont Institute of Natural Science is a nonprofit environmental educational, research and avian rehabilitation organization located in Quechee, VT. The 47 acre campus is open year round and offers a variety of activities for visitors to participate in.

The VINS Nature Center features 17 state of the art raptor enclosures, 4 exhibit areas, 2 classrooms and nearly a mile of nature trails. VINS passes down its passion for wildlife through its environmental education programs and learning opportunities for adults, families and school children alike.
VINS Nature Trails
While visiting and touring the VINS facility, feel free to wander into the woods and explore one of the nature trails. Stroll along the Laughlin, McKnight or Lingelback trail, or head over to Quechee Gorge and enjoy the view from the bridge!
Yes, the trails are also open year round. During the winter months, you can give snowshoeing a try. Don’t have snowshoes? No problem, you can rent snowshoes at the VINS Nature Store.
